There will be a 2020 Canter's Cave 4-H Camp T-Shirt!
Designed by??? Maybe YOU! We are holding a t-shirt design contest to select our design. We may not be able to be together in-person this summer but we can still show our camp spirit.
Submit your design by May 19th at http://go.osu.edu/2020canters to be considered.
The winning shirt will be made into a t-shirt for sale online later this summer. The winning designer will receive a free t-shirt and a 2021 camp registration!

Summer staff members are responsible for providing leadership to a variety of educational and social recreational activities during 4-H and other resident and non-resident camps and events at Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp. This is an ideal position for a college student seeking a paid internship. Extension staff will work with a qualified candidate to meet requirements and to provide supervision, documentation, and feedback.
We are seeking multiple applicants. Please review the full position descriptions.

The application is now available for the 2020 Summer Program Coordinator. The summer program coordinator will work with the camp manager, summer staff, and camp program directors to ensure a safe and positive outdoor recreational and youth development experience for campers. This is an ideal position for a college student seeking a paid internship. Extension staff will work with a qualified candidate to meet internship requirements and to provide supervision, documentation, and feedback.

Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp was a 2019 recipient of a Southern Ohio Agricultural and Community Development Foundation (SOACDF) Youth Development Grant. The grant was for $250,000 with a $50,000 match to fund a new sleeping and conference facility and update the HVAC system in Harrison Powell Lodge. “We are excited for this new opportunity to expand our sleeping facilities and update Harrison Powell. This will allow us to accommodate more campers, but also give us another rental space for the community to use” said Michelle Stumbo, Board Past President.

The Canter's Cave 4-H Camp Board of Directors is working to develop a database of individuals who care about camp! We want to be able to provide our Alumni and Friends who care about camp with updates of what is going on, special projects and other interesting things. We may also share our camp wishlists and ways you can give back to camp; this may be monetarily or through workdays.

Join us for our 2019 Canter's Cave 4-H Camp Open House!
May 5th from Noon -4pm
Free and open to the public, bring the whole family to spend a day at camp! We will have archery, fishing, hikes and more going on!
Join us for our Live and Silent Auctions as we work to raise funds to support camp.
We will also be having a "Toast to Anita" to celebrate the retirement of Anita Harris. Anita has retired after 23 years serving as the camp director.
