Ohio 4-H owes a duty of care to participants in its custody. This duty applies to the youth development programs and activities offered by both OSU Extension professionals and our approved volunteers, including camping, trips, and other overnight programming. Ohio 4-H places priority on taking necessary and reasonable actions to safeguard the overall safety and well-being of all program participants and seeks to balance this priority with the privacy rights of our 4-H participants.
